ELLICOTT CITY, MD– Glenelg Country School (GCS) senior Chloe Lewis of Columbia, Maryland signed her National Letter of Intent on February 4, 2015 to play soccer for NCAA Division I La Salle University under the direction of head coach Paul Royal.
Additionally, several other students from Glenelg Country School have verbally committed to play at the following schools in the coming years:
- Colby Manekin ’15, Salisbury University, Division III Men’s Baseball
- Sabrina DeLeonibus ’15, Oberlin College, Division III Women’s Basketball
- Catelyn Gamble ’15, Ferrum College, Division III Women’s Soccer
- Shagun Kathuria ’15, Stevenson University, Division III Women’s Field Hockey
- Alyssa Arnold ’17, Jacksonville University, Division I Women’s Lacrosse
- Christian VandenHeuvel ’17, Furman University, Division I Men’s Lacrosse
- Hannah Glaros ’18, Univeristy of Maryland, Division I Women’s Lacrosse
An athletic celebration for all seniors who are playing a Division III sport in college will take place on Wednesday, April 29th in the Upper School Library. Glenelg Country School is located at 12793 Folly Quarter Road, Ellicott City, MD 21042.
